[It's perhaps a good thing that Terra doesn't even know what a date is, nor has she ever been on one. All she is used to is Edgar's flirtations and those just left her feeling tired.]
When should I be ready by?
[Not that Terra will do very much but she doesn't want dirt on her clothes before leaving the house.]
[ The next time Terra checks her mail she'll find an envelope with her name on it but otherwise unmarked.
Inside there's a pencil sketch of a single flower, everything colored and shaded in hues of grey except the flower petals themselves, which were colored in a vibrant purple.
At the bottom is written a simple thank you followed by the letter J in a fancy cursive font. ]
[battler was so impossibly confused, and he definitely needed someone to talk to about this. as usual he was paying terra a visit, he had come to her in the middle of the night and he was simply inspecting all of her plants while he waited for her. once she stepped into the greenhouse she would find battler, his hand in his pocket, and the other touching one of her flowers.
he didn't turn to her, he just kept on touching the flower, even as he spoke.]
.....My master showed up in this place..... yet she told me she has no need for a culprit. I am... conflicted...
[Terra steps up to Battler, her footsteps soft as her feet whisper against the ground. She isn’t bothered so much about his visits though they’ve slowly begun to take a toll on her sleep.]
Does she have need for anything else?
[Her voice is soft though her tone is curious. She understands Battler in a way that she hadn’t thought she would and she can understand his new situation with an uncomfortable amount of ease.]
I know you’re the culprit but… you want to follow her… right?
[Terra isn’t sure because she’s spent her life trying to break the chains from her master.]
No..... she has me doing just.... mundane errands. [battler smiles bitterly, his entire body tense as he feels the need to just destroy something- but he keeps the feeling at bay.] ....Like I'm no more than a glorified butler. How... irritating...
[battler turned to her now, his piercing red eyes just as intimidating as they always had been, but his frustration was clearly focused elsewhere.]
....yes, I want to follow her more than anything. If she asked me to die for her, I would. If she asked me to turn myself in.... I would.
I'm just.... not used to this, to being asked not to kill.
[tonight is the same as any other night, except when terra comes to the greenhouse battler has a different place in mind.
he sits in one of her chairs, just waiting for her to arrive, and he is skimming through a book about gardening that she had lying around. it didn't interest him at all, he was simply passing the time.]
[She knows that he has no interest in Gardening and as she steps in and sees the book she can only assume that he's bored. A light smile touches her lips when she sees him. She doesn't really know how to act, what they are but she looks forward to seeing him no and thanks to his help she's been sleeping better.]
[battler shook his head before he stood up. his gaze was focused on terra as he closed the distance between them, and he reached out to her hand once he was close enough to her.]
If you wish...however the books here are just a temporary way of passing time... until you arrive, of course.
[he smirked at her.] I am feeling.... a bit more bold tonight. Let's go for a walk.
[this time battler had been pacing instead of waiting for her quietly. he stepped back and forth inside of the greenhouse, seemingly troubled. it just kept on happening to him, things that he didn't understand, and he didn't know what to do at all.
so once she stepped in, he stopped pacing, and just glanced over at her.]
My master is gone. I am... [without a purpose yet again.] ...I suppose this makes me 'free' as they say.
[Terra steps inside and softly closes the door behind her. His words press against her thoughts and her heart like a heavy weight. She knows what it means for him and how lost he must feel.]
I'm sorry Battler.
[She steps across the greenhouse and reaches for him.]
[he hadn't even noticed, he had been so fixated on terra for days. battler made no move to reach out to her as well, he just kept his hands in his pockets.]
[Carrying a bag on his back, making it easier to carrying things around while on cruches, Yugi had gone to drop off a few things. But he just needed to find the other first. So the first stop was of course her shop, the shop where she lived above.]
[Terra is in the backroom when she hears her name being called. She steps forward, a small cat at her heels as she moves into the main section of the store.]
The most awkward audio message
So, my co-worker's throwing a party for the holidays and I wanted to know if you wanted to go with me.
Audio: Awkward is all Terra does :3
Um...[Awkward pause.] Sure.
When is it?
Audio; It's okay. He's just really bad at this
...you sure?
Audio; <3

You said you wanted to know how my leg was when I got the cast changed.
It's doing much better. It kind of surprised the doctors, but I still need to keep it bandaged for a big long though.
