[this time battler had been pacing instead of waiting for her quietly. he stepped back and forth inside of the greenhouse, seemingly troubled. it just kept on happening to him, things that he didn't understand, and he didn't know what to do at all.
so once she stepped in, he stopped pacing, and just glanced over at her.]
My master is gone. I am... [without a purpose yet again.] ...I suppose this makes me 'free' as they say.
[Terra steps inside and softly closes the door behind her. His words press against her thoughts and her heart like a heavy weight. She knows what it means for him and how lost he must feel.]
I'm sorry Battler.
[She steps across the greenhouse and reaches for him.]
[he hadn't even noticed, he had been so fixated on terra for days. battler made no move to reach out to her as well, he just kept his hands in his pockets.]
[Terra feels a new pain when he doesn't accept her touch. She's never been this close to someone before, nor has she felt this helpless in the face of their pain.
She lightly rests a hand on his chest, keeping her other hand cupped in front of her chest. She looks up at him, her inhuman blue eyes trying to catch his gaze.]
Would you believe me if I said it'll be okay.
[Her voice is soft and while she feels as if this is the truth it won't matter if Battler doesn't think so as well.]
[She doesn't have answers for him but she understands how lost he might feel. She can't tell him where to go but she can hold a light while he finds his way.]
[terra..... she really was someone that had stuck by him, even after all that he had done. he loved it, he adored the killing and the murders, but he also... didn't want to be left alone. if he had his master he could just serve her forever... but now she was gone.
but he still had terra.
battler just stared down at her before he grabbed her hand, now pulling her along with him. he went and sat down on one of the seats in the greenhouse, and he tugged her along.]
Sit on my lap. [there, now he was being more intimate again, and he wasn't denying her anymore.]
[Terra is surprised when Battler grabs her hand. She follows along with him and at his command sits on his lap with her legs off to the side. Her hands rest lightly around his shoulders, her eyes looking questionably into his.]
Is everything okay?
[She whispers the words softly, her breath catching slightly in her throat.]
[She wishes he'd stop a lot of his tendencies, that he'd never hurt anyone because then he wouldn't need to hide at night but that is just wishful thinking and she knows that.]
[he could never stop, it was apart of him. he just wanted to hurt, to kill... he craved it. even so, because of terra he felt as though he was starting to crave her instead.]
I wonder.... if they would ever allow me to be out during the day. [the people that want him dead and captured, of course.]
[true, definitely true. he would do it all again if he could, it was just so much fun, but... he did want to spend a lot of his time with terra as well.]
I wonder, if I let them all kill me for their... revenge, if that would make their anger stop. It's frustrating- I want to be with you during the days as well.
action; night again

When did she leave?

[he hadn't even noticed, he had been so fixated on terra for days. battler made no move to reach out to her as well, he just kept his hands in his pockets.]
Yet again, this is all so.... frustrating.

...What... makes you say that?

Battler?
no subject
[battler looked up at her, his hand at the small of her back in order to steady her on his lap.]
That I am not alone, just as you said.... that I have you by my side.
no subject
You do...
[There are no plans for that to change.]
no subject
[now he is just curious.]

[Terra's eyes glance away though she stays close to him, positioned on his lap.]
A lot of people are still very upset.

[Killing isn't a permanent solution in Genessia and Terra doubts that it'll quench peoples ire.]
I don't want to watch you die.
no subject
I wouldn't die... not that easily. They cannot harm me... do not worry about that.
no subject
[She exhales a slow breath.]
I'm so tired of fighting.
[Terra shifts her weight so that she's able to rest her head against Battlers shoulder.]
no subject
But you're so strong.... you truly do not enjoy fighting at all...? [he was genuinely asking.]
no subject
[She answers in a small voice, the truth of her statement in both her tone and her demeanor.]
I don't- I rarely change to my other form Battler. I don't know how to control it. If I use my magic to much it can come out and I can't stop it.
